Quinto needed it recognized that he didn’t petition Paramount for the position of Spock, nor was he actively trumpeting in a number of interviews that he undoubtedly needed the half. It was only one interview with the Pittsburgh Submit-Gazette in December of 2006. The actor mentioned:
“To be clear and trustworthy, it was actually an unintentional marketing campaign. I used to be giving an interview for publicity for ‘Heroes,’ and the primary interview was for my hometown newspaper … and the journalist requested if there was any challenge I might be taken with past ‘Heroes’ and I mentioned ‘I simply discovered they have been making “Star Trek” and I might like to play Spock,’ by no means in one million years pondering it will add to something.”
The issue with little interviews in a contemporary media cycle is that they are usually quoted a number of occasions by different retailers. Fairly quickly, reporters have been asking Quinto repeatedly about his Spock remark, forcing the actor to reiterate that, sure, positive, he’d like to play the half. Fairly quickly, the rumors expanded in such a approach that Spock began to truly develop into an unfettered dream position. He continued:

Many followers, it must be famous, beloved Quinto within the position, and he isn’t given up hope but that he’ll get to play the character once more.
