Aledort have written the definitive biography on the lifetime of Stevie
Ray Vaughan. They not too long ago held a guide launch occasion/guide speak/Q+A
session at Nashville’s iconic Station Inn adopted by a musical
celebration of SRV that includes Jack Pearson, Greg Martin, Scott
Sharrad, Seth Walker, JD Simo, Guthrie Trapp and themselves. The
occasion was sponsored and introduced by Laurie Gregory of Roots Radio
WMOT. Copies of the guide had been out there for buy and signed by
the authors.
The guide speak was very
informative with the authors sharing their experiences and
conversations from the exhaustive analysis executed because the prelude to the
precise writing of the guide. An inside take a look at the making of the guide
with many attention-grabbing anecdotes from these concerned in Stevie’s life.
Then the musical
celebration started, with the Midnight Rider’s supplying the Bass,
drums, and keyboards for the occasion. The assorted guitar gamers all
had their private Stevie Ray tales to inform, illustrating their
connection to Stevie.
One story specifically
was Jack Pearson telling of the time in Austin when he and Stevie
would pay the identical golf equipment, Stevie had blown his amp (A trademark was
Stevie pushing gear to the restrict)and requested Jack if he might

like Stevie would play.
