Some time again, Trove Thursday featured La Wally in a starry La Scala broadcast from the mid-Nineteen Fifties.I refer any reader again to that submit for my ideas on this Catalani work.
I’ll add that this later Tebaldi efficiency for the American Opera Society at Carnegie Corridor was possible her closing Wally after having laid apart the work for various years. This live performance was most likely occasioned by her Decca business recording from across the similar time.
