Lower than every week after the Gradual Horses Season 4 finale dropped on Apple TV+, the streaming service has picked up one other season of the Gary Oldman-led drama.
Gradual Horses has been renewed for its sixth season (the fifth was introduced in January 2024). The collection relies on Mick Herron’s Slough Home books, with the sixth season adapting Joe Nation and Slough Home, the sixth and 7 novels.
Based on the official description of the season, it “sees the Gradual Horses on the run as Diana Taverner [Kristin Scott Thomas] embroils all of them in a fatally high-stakes recreation of retaliation and revenge.”
The darkly humorous spy drama follows a dysfunctional workforce of British intelligence brokers who serve in a dumping floor division of MI5 identified un-affectionately as Slough Home. Oldman performs its sensible however cantankerous chief Jackson Lamb. Season 6 is tailored for tv by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe, with Adam Randall returning to direct.
