The gloves are off and the frost is on within the newest episode of Grosse Pointe Backyard Society, NBC’s delightfully depraved suburban drama that continues to serve high-stakes horticulture with a facet of deep-rooted secrets and techniques. “Frost” doesn’t simply reside as much as its chilly title — it delivers a biting, emotional, and juicy hour of tv that pushes almost each character to a breaking level.
The episode kicks off with a poetic voiceover from Brett — sure, it is lastly his flip — as he lays in mattress musing in regards to the secret lifetime of crops and the unpredictable nature of gardening. In the meantime, Brett is being lured deeper right into a money-laundering scheme by an investor he didn’t know was soiled — all orchestrated by Connor, his charming snake of a rival. The stakes are rising quick for Brett, and we see each flashbacks and flash-forwards that tease a a lot darker ending for this already shady dynamic.
