Tom Holland has began filming his highly-anticipated new film!
The 28-year-old Spider-Man actor was seen aboard a big picket ship alongside director Christopher Nolan as they filmed scenes for The Odyssey on Thursday (March 13) within the sea outdoors of Methoni, Greece.
Whereas aboard the boat, Tom wore brown cloak over a wine-red tunic whereas Christopher, 54, was seen standing behind him and carrying a life vest.
The boat appeared to heading in the direction of a fort on the sting of the ocean with extras dressed up as Greek warriors.
Late final 12 months, it was introduced that the Oppenheimer filmmaker will likely be making an adaptation of Homer‘s epic poem.
“The movie brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX movie screens for the primary time and opens in theaters all over the place on July 17, 2026,” Common Footage previosuly introduced.
The Odyssey chronicles “the ten-year journey of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, again to his house after the autumn of Troy,” in keeping with GoodReads. Homer wrote it across the eighth or seventh century BC.
